Description

Greek Veggie Pizza Squares are a fresh and flavorful appetizer featuring Mediterranean toppings on a crispy crust, perfect for parties or a light meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup hummus
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry onto the prepared baking sheet and prick all over with a fork.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let it cool completely.
  4. Spread the hummus evenly over the cooled pastry.
  5. Top with cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, black olives, and feta cheese.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cut into squares and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a flavored hummus for an extra burst of flavor.
  • Make sure the pastry is fully cooled before adding toppings to prevent sogginess.
  • Best served fresh to maintain crispiness.
