Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish made with tender chicken, garlic, and rich Parmesan cheese. Perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  4. Add uncooked penne pasta to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in cooked chicken and Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
  • Add spinach or broccoli for extra vegetables.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
