Description

Juicy and tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over the top to coat.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce.
