- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Stir in the minced garlic and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter over the top to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.

- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) internally.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce.
