Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add asparagus and cook for 4-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, toss with asparagus, and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
  7. Optional: Add lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
