- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions
- Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add asparagus and cook for 4-6 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the skillet, toss with asparagus, and cook for another 2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Optional: Add lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
