Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Line a mixing bowl with cheesecloth or paper towel. Add the yogurt and let it strain in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours to remove excess liquid.
  2. Transfer the strained yogurt to a large bowl. Stir in honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice if using. Mix until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  4. Fold in fruit puree or mix-ins if desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. Churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20-25 minutes) until it reaches soft-serve consistency.
  6. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 2-3 hours for a firmer texture.
  7. Scoop and serve with your favorite toppings.
