These fried strawberry cheesecake sandwiches are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and loaded with sweet strawberry flavor. They’re the perfect treat for a quick dessert or a fun weekend indulgence. Made with simple ingredients and fried to golden perfection, this recipe brings fairground vibes right to your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of white sandwich bread, crusts removed

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam or preserves

  • 1 cup strawberries, diced

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  2. Flatten each slice of bread slightly with a rolling pin.

  3. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread.

  4. Add 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam and a few pieces of diced strawberries on top.

  5. Top with another slice of bread and press the edges to seal (you can use a fork to crimp the edges).

  6. In three separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and breadcrumbs.

  7. Dip each sandwich first in flour, then in egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumbs.

  8. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  9. Fry each sandwich for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

  10. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar if desired.

  11. Serve warm.
