Description

Fresh Strawberry Yum Yum is a layered dessert with a buttery graham cracker crust, a fluffy cream cheese and whipped topping layer, and a sweet strawberry pie filling on top. It’s a refreshing, fruity treat perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl. Press the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
  2. Bake crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  6. Spoon the strawberry pie filling over the cream layer and spread gently.
  7. Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  9. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure the crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer.
