Instructions
- Prepare and bake a 9-inch pie crust according to package or recipe instructions. Let it cool completely.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes clear.
- Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry gelatin until completely dissolved. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Arrange the fresh strawberries in the cooled pie crust.
- Pour the gelatin mixture evenly over the strawberries, making sure they are well coated.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Top with whipped cream before serving, if desired.
