- 1 packet (1 oz) dry French onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 2 tbsp butter (for buns)

Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sliced onions. Cook slowly for 20–25 minutes, stirring often, until caramelized and golden. Set aside.

- Assemble the burgers: bottom bun, patty with melted cheese, caramelized onions, and additional toppings as desired. Finish with the top bun.
- Serve immediately with fries or a side salad.
Notes
- Use Gruyère cheese for a more authentic French onion flavor.
- Onions can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
