Description

This Five-Minute Peanut Satay Sauce is rich, creamy, and packed with bold, nutty flavor. Made with peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, lime, and a touch of sweetness, it’s the perfect dip, drizzle, or dressing for grilled meats, noodles, or fresh veggies. Quick, easy, and always a hit!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice

  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger (or 1/4 tsp ground)

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil (optional for extra flavor)

  • 1/4-1/3 cup warm water (to thin to desired consistency)

  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes or a dash of sriracha (optional for heat)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, vinegar or lime juice, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth.

  • Slowly add warm water, a little at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency—thick for dipping, thinner for drizzling.

  • Stir in chili flakes or sriracha if you want a spicy kick.

  • Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • For a vegan version, use maple syrup instead of honey.

  • Add a splash of coconut milk for a creamier, richer version.

  • Great with chicken skewers, spring rolls, rice bowls, or veggie platters.
