Ingredients
- 1 lb filet mignon, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Toothpicks or mini skewers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season filet mignon cubes with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the beef cubes for 1-2 minutes per side until browned but still tender.
- Reduce heat to medium, add butter, minced garlic, and thyme to the skillet.
- Spoon the garlic herb butter over the beef for about 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Transfer the filet mignon bites to a serving platter and insert toothpicks or mini skewers.
- Serve immediately while warm.
