Description

Elegant and tender Filet Mignon appetizers, perfect for parties or special gatherings, served with a flavorful garlic herb butter or sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb filet mignon, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Toothpicks or mini skewers for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season filet mignon cubes with salt and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and sear the beef cubes for 1-2 minutes per side until browned but still tender.
  4. Reduce heat to medium, add butter, minced garlic, and thyme to the skillet.
  5. Spoon the garlic herb butter over the beef for about 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  6. Transfer the filet mignon bites to a serving platter and insert toothpicks or mini skewers.
  7. Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the filet mignon to preserve tenderness.
  • You can prepare the garlic butter ahead of time for quicker assembly.
