Description

These raspberry bars are the ultimate easy dessert! Made with just five simple ingredients, they’re buttery, fruity, and perfect for a quick treat or to bring to a gathering. With a golden crust and sweet raspberry jam center, you won’t believe how fast they come together.


Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup raspberry jam (preferably seedless)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt until a crumbly dough forms.

  3. Press about two-thirds of the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.

  4. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.

  5. Crumble the remaining dough over the jam layer.

  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the edges are set.

  7. Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares.


Notes

  • You can substitute raspberry jam with other flavors like strawberry, apricot, or blueberry.

  • For a crunchier topping, add 1/4 cup chopped nuts to the crumbled dough.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
