Instructions
- Chill a martini glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice water for a few minutes.
- Brew a fresh shot of espresso and allow it to cool slightly.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup (if using).
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to create a frothy top.
- Discard the ice from the martini glass and strain the cocktail into the chilled glass.
