- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup mini M&Ms
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Add the heat-treated flour gradually and mix until combined.
- Stir in the milk to achieve a creamy consistency.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips and M&Ms.
- Serve immediately or chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- To heat-treat flour, microwave in a bowl for 1 minute or bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes to kill bacteria.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Let it come to room temperature before serving for a softer texture.
