- 1 baguette or rustic Italian bread, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions
- Dice the tomatoes and place them in a bowl. Add minced garlic, chopped basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and let sit for 10–15 minutes to develop flavors.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch slices and brush each side with olive oil or melted butter.
- Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes or until golden and crisp.
- Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted bread slices just before serving.
- (Optional) Drizzle with balsamic glaze for extra flavor.
