Description
A quick and comforting Easy Tater Tot Casserole made with ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, and crispy tater tots. Perfect for a family dinner or potluck.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Use cream of chicken or cheddar soup for a different flavor profile.
- Top with green onions or parsley for garnish.
