Description

This Easy Sausage Egg Biscuit Casserole is a hearty, comforting breakfast dish made with layers of biscuits, sausage, eggs, and cheese. It’s perfect for feeding a crowd or prepping ahead for busy mornings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
  3. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage over the biscuit pieces.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and biscuits.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
