Description

These easy roasted crispy chickpeas are a healthy, crunchy snack or salad topper, seasoned to perfection and baked until golden brown.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas. Pat them very dry with paper towels.
  3. Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, toss with olive oil and spices, then return to oven.
  5. Roast for an additional 20-25 minutes until crispy, shaking the pan halfway through.
  6. Let cool completely before serving or storing.
