Description

This Easy Philly Cheese Steak Casserole is a delicious twist on the classic sandwich, packed with seasoned ground beef, bell peppers, onions, and gooey melted cheese—all baked together for a satisfying and low-carb meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and bell peppers, and sauté until softened, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  5. Stir in salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, and mayonnaise until well combined and creamy.
  6. Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  7. Top with shredded provolone and mozzarella cheeses.
  8. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
