This easy peach cobbler is a classic Southern dessert made with juicy peaches and a sweet, buttery crust. Perfect for summer gatherings or a cozy family treat.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups sliced fresh or canned peaches (drained if canned)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in the milk until just combined to form a batter.
- Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.
- Spoon the peaches evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon if using.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the crust comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Best served warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- You can use frozen peaches, just thaw and drain them first.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the batter.
