- 1 1/2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, brown the butter over medium heat until golden and fragrant. Let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the browned butter and sugar. Beat until well mixed.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Cover and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
