- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
- Optional: extra Oreos for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold together until just combined—do not overmix.
- Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Add extra Oreo pieces on top if desired.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, bake closer to 25 minutes.
