  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • Optional: extra Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold together until just combined—do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Add extra Oreo pieces on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
