Description

This Easy Date Bark recipe is a quick, no-bake treat made with Medjool dates, nut butter, and chocolate. Perfect for a healthy snack or dessert, it’s naturally sweet, rich, and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 12 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds (or any nuts of choice)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. Flatten the pitted dates and arrange them in a single layer on the parchment paper to form a rectangle.
  3. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the top of the date layer.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave or on the stove until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle chopped almonds and sea salt on top.
  7. Place the tray in the freezer for 30 minutes or until the bark is firm.
  8. Once set, break into pieces and serve. Store leftovers in the fridge or freezer.

Notes

  • You can use any nut butter or seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • Customize toppings with dried fruit, shredded coconut, or seeds.
