This Easy Crockpot Lasagna Recipe delivers all the rich flavors of traditional lasagna with minimal effort. Layered with pasta, meat sauce, and cheese, it’s a perfect hands-off comfort food meal.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara or pasta sauce
- 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, basil, salt, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
- Spray the inside of the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
- Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Break lasagna noodles as needed to fit and layer over the sauce.
- Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese and more meat sauce.
- Repeat layers two more times, ending with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until noodles are tender.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before serving for easier slicing.
Notes
- No-boil lasagna noodles are not required—regular ones cook perfectly in the crockpot.
- For added flavor, mix Italian sausage with ground beef.
- Great for meal prep—leftovers reheat well.
