- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 pound angel hair pasta, cooked
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
- In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, Italian dressing mix, and butter until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions shortly before serving.
- Serve chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or onions to the sauce.
- You can substitute angel hair pasta with rice or mashed potatoes.
- Shred the chicken before serving for easier mixing with the sauce and pasta.
