Description

A creamy and comforting chicken dish made effortlessly in the slow cooker with just a few ingredients. Perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 pound angel hair pasta, cooked

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, Italian dressing mix, and butter until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions shortly before serving.
  6. Serve chicken and sauce over cooked angel hair pasta.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or onions to the sauce.
  • You can substitute angel hair pasta with rice or mashed potatoes.
  • Shred the chicken before serving for easier mixing with the sauce and pasta.
