This Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, combining tender chicken, egg noodles, and a creamy sauce all baked to perfection. Great for weeknights or family gatherings.

- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (optional topping)
- 2 tbsp melted butter (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cooked chicken, cooked noodles, frozen peas and carrots, and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole (optional).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works great for this recipe.
- You can substitute cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom or celery.
- Add other vegetables like corn or green beans if desired.
