- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cans (20 oz each) pineapple chunks, drained
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sugar and flour.
- Add drained pineapple chunks to the sugar mixture and stir to coat evenly.
- Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the pineapple and cheese mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the pineapple mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
