Description

A quick and spicy Korean-style buldak ramen recipe that brings bold flavor and heat in just minutes. Perfect for a fiery noodle craving.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pack instant ramen noodles (preferably buldak spicy flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 boiled egg, halved (optional)
  • 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
  • Seaweed flakes, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, gochujang, soy sauce, sugar, and water. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and clings to the noodles.
  6. Transfer to a bowl and top with boiled egg halves, green onions, sesame seeds, and seaweed flakes if desired.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your spicy buldak ramen!

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by reducing or increasing the gochujang.
  • Swap chicken for tofu or mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
  • Add cheese for a creamy twist that balances the heat.
