- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced

- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender and browned, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and thyme. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes more.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
