Description

These easy and delicious garlic knots are soft, buttery, and packed with garlic flavor. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer, they come together quickly with simple ingredients and are sure to be a hit with everyone.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and cut each piece in half. Roll each piece into a 6-inch rope and tie into a knot, tucking the ends underneath.
  3. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the knots.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

  • Use pre-made pizza dough instead of biscuit dough for a more traditional texture.
  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of Italian seasoning to the butter mixture.
  • These are best served warm, but can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
