Description

These Easter Rice Krispie & Chocolate Mini Egg Nests are a fun and easy no-bake treat made with crispy rice cereal, melted chocolate, and topped with colorful mini eggs—perfect for spring celebrations.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 200g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp golden syrup (or corn syrup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate eggs

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate, butter, and golden syrup together over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract if using.
  3. Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until the cereal is fully coated.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a lined muffin tin, pressing gently in the center to form a nest shape.
  5. Place 3 mini eggs in the center of each nest.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until set.
  7. Once firm, remove from the muffin tin and serve.

Notes

  • You can use dark or white chocolate instead of milk chocolate for variation.
  • Silicone muffin molds make removal easier.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
