Description

This easy and comforting casserole is inspired by Dolly Parton’s signature style—simple, hearty, and full of flavor. With just five ingredients, it’s a perfect weeknight dinner that’s ready in no time. Cheesy, creamy, and baked to golden perfection, this dish is sure to become a family favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained

  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, corn, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix well.

  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.

  5. Top with the remaining cheese and sprinkle the crushed Ritz crackers on top.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

  7. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.


Notes

  • You can swap the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken.

  • Add a pinch of black pepper or garlic powder for extra flavor.

  • For a crispier topping, mix a tablespoon of melted butter with the crackers before sprinkling them on top.
