These Dill Pickle Cheese Balls are the ultimate snack for pickle lovers! Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with tangy dill pickle flavor, they make the perfect party appetizer or game-day treat. Quick to make and even easier to devour, these bite-sized balls pack a zesty punch in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/3 cup chopped dill pickles

  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels or finely chopped pecans (for coating)

  • Optional: Extra chopped dill pickles or fresh dill for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the mixture is firm enough to shape.

  3. Scoop out heaping tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls using your hands.

  4. Roll each ball in the crushed pretzels or chopped pecans to coat.

  5. Garnish with extra chopped pickles or fresh dill, if desired.

  6. Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a spicy twist, add a dash of hot sauce or finely diced jalapeños.

  • These can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in the fridge.

  • Mini pretzel sticks can be inserted into each ball for easy serving.
