Description

A hearty and flavorful slow cooker dish combining smoked kielbasa, green beans, and potatoes, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced into rounds
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add kielbasa slices and cook until lightly browned. Transfer to the crockpot.
  2. Add green beans, baby potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and smoked paprika over the ingredients.
  4. Pour chicken broth over everything and stir gently to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until potatoes and green beans are tender.
  6. Stir before serving and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Notes

  • You can use canned green beans if fresh are not available, but add them in the last hour of cooking.
  • For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes.
  • This recipe can be doubled for larger crowds.
