-
10 medium apples (a mix of sweet and tart like Fuji, Honeycrisp, and Granny Smith), peeled, cored, and chopped
-
1/2 cup water
-
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice
-
Optional: 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (if you want it sweeter)
Instructions
-
Add the chopped apples, water, cinnamon, and lemon juice to the crockpot.
-
Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the apples are soft and breaking down.
