Crispy Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts are a savory, golden-brown side dish packed with flavor. Roasted until crispy and finished with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan, they’re a perfect complement to any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Spread Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes or until golden and crispy on the edges.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the sprouts.
- Return to oven for 3–5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly crisped.
- Optional: sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the pan.
- Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best texture and flavor.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
