Description

Crispy Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts are a savory, golden-brown side dish packed with flavor. Roasted until crispy and finished with a generous sprinkle of Parmesan, they’re a perfect complement to any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Spread Brussels sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for 20–25 minutes or until golden and crispy on the edges.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the sprouts.
  6. Return to oven for 3–5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and slightly crisped.
  7. Optional: sprinkle with red pepper flakes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Freshly grated Parmesan gives the best texture and flavor.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
