Description

These crispy chicken nuggets are golden, crunchy, and delicious—perfect for both kids and adults. They’re easy to make at home and taste even better than takeout.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crispiness)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  3. In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken nuggets in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per batch.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, bake the nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • You can use chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
  • Add chili flakes to the breadcrumb mixture for a spicy kick.
