- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crispiness)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken nuggets in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per batch.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a healthier version, bake the nuggets at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- You can use chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
- Add chili flakes to the breadcrumb mixture for a spicy kick.
