Description

Crispy Air Fryer Honey Garlic Salmon Bites are bite-sized pieces of salmon cooked to perfection in the air fryer and coated with a sticky, flavorful honey garlic sauce. A quick and healthy meal or appetizer ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place salmon cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7-9 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. If using, stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce and simmer for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Remove the salmon bites from the air fryer and toss them in the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Use skinless salmon for easier preparation and better texture.
  • Adjust the garlic and honey amounts to taste.
  • Serve with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables for a full meal.
