  • 1 cup sliced banana peppers (about 1/4-inch thick rings)

Breading:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • cooking spray or oil mist

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Banana Peppers: Pat the banana pepper slices dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Set Up Breading Station: Prepare three shallow bowls with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings.
  3. Coat the Peppers: Dip each pepper ring in flour, then egg, and coat in the seasoned panko mixture. Press gently to help the coating stick.
  4. Air Fry: Preheat air fryer, arrange breaded pepper coins, air fry at 375°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
