Description

Rich and fudgy brownies swirled with a creamy cheesecake layer and loaded with chunks of Oreo cookies for the ultimate indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1 large egg (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cream cheese layer)
  • 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture on top in dollops, then use a knife to swirl it into the brownie batter.
  6. Sprinkle chopped Oreos over the top, gently pressing them into the batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, chill the brownies before slicing.
  • You can use double-stuffed Oreos for extra creaminess.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
