- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 15 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a large bowl, pour the rice Chex cereal and set aside.
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract to the melted white chocolate.
- Pour the white chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until all the cereal is evenly coated.
- Add the crushed cookies and powdered sugar to the coated cereal and toss until well coated. Use a large zip-top bag for easy shaking.
- For a richer flavor, drizzle melted milk or semi-sweet chocolate over the top and let it set.
- Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to cool and dry completely.
- Once dry, transfer to an airtight container for storage.
