Description

This Cookie Cake is a delicious combination of a giant chewy cookie and a festive cake, perfect for birthdays or everyday celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • Optional: frosting and sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until edges are golden and the center is set but still soft.
  9. Cool completely in the pan before removing.
  10. Decorate with frosting and sprinkles as desired.
