Description

This cinnamon sugar pizza is a fun, sweet twist on traditional pizza. It has a soft, chewy crust topped with a buttery cinnamon sugar mixture and finished with a drizzle of icing. Perfect for dessert or a sweet snack—kids and adults will both love it!

Ingredients

For the Dough (or use store-bought pizza dough):

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp instant yeast

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup warm water

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1-2 tbsp milk

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

  2. Make the dough (if homemade): In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes, then let rest for 10 minutes.

  3. Roll out the dough into a circle or rectangle about ¼-inch thick. Place on the prepared pan.

  4. Brush melted butter evenly over the dough surface.

  5. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the buttered dough.

  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cooked through.

  7. While the pizza bakes, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  8. Remove pizza from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle icing over the top.

  9. Slice and serve warm!

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, add a sprinkle of brown sugar with the cinnamon sugar.

  • This is delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
