Description

Churro Cheesecake Bars combine the cinnamon-sugar crunch of churros with the creamy richness of cheesecake, making them an irresistible treat for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and lay it gently over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top layer.
  7. Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle generously over the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.

Notes
