- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
- Unroll the second can of crescent dough and lay it gently over the cream cheese layer.
- Brush melted butter over the top layer.
- Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle generously over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.
Notes
- Try a swirl of dulce de leche or caramel in the cheesecake layer for added flavor.
- Use flavored cream cheese or sprinkle chocolate chips for a variation.
