Description

A fresh and chunky guacamole made with ripe avocados, tomatoes, jalapeño, and lime juice—perfect for chips, tacos, or as a flavorful side.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 12 limes)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large bowl.
  2. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired chunkiness.
  3. Dice the tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro finely. Add them to the bowl.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of fresh limes and mix gently.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add minced garlic if desired.
  6. Mix until combined but still chunky.
  7. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos or grilled meats.
