Description

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Bars are a rich, no-bake treat layered with crushed graham crackers, creamy peanut butter filling, and a smooth chocolate topping. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, they come together quickly and are always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

Crust Layer:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Make the crust: In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until fully combined. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Chill in the fridge while you make the filling.

  2. Prepare the peanut butter layer: In a separate bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.

  3. Make the chocolate topping: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread it out evenly.

  5. Chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until firm.

  6. Slice into bars and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

  • You can use crunchy peanut butter if you want some added texture.

  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top for a salty-sweet twist.
