Chocolate Lasagna is a layered no-bake dessert featuring an Oreo crust, cream cheese layer, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping, perfect for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp cold milk
- 12 oz Cool Whip, divided
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding
- 3 1/4 cups cold milk
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed plastic bag and rolling pin.
- Mix the Oreo crumbs with melted butter until well combined and press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add 2 tbsp of milk and granulated sugar, and mix well.
- Fold in 1 1/4 cups of Cool Whip and spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
- In another bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with 3 1/4 cups cold milk until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Allow the dessert to rest for 5 minutes to let the pudding firm up.
- Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top, if desired.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip if preferred.
- Try using different flavored pudding for variation.
