Description

Chocolate Lasagna is a layered no-bake dessert featuring an Oreo crust, cream cheese layer, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping, perfect for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cold milk
  • 12 oz Cool Whip, divided
  • 2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 1/4 cups cold milk
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for topping)


Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed plastic bag and rolling pin.
  2. Mix the Oreo crumbs with melted butter until well combined and press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add 2 tbsp of milk and granulated sugar, and mix well.
  4. Fold in 1 1/4 cups of Cool Whip and spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust.
  5. In another bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with 3 1/4 cups cold milk until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Allow the dessert to rest for 5 minutes to let the pudding firm up.
  7. Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
  8. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top, if desired.
  9. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip if preferred.
  • Try using different flavored pudding for variation.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
