- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
Instructions
- Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and let sit for 2-3 minutes to melt.
- Stir gently with a whisk or spatula until smooth and glossy.
- Let cool slightly before using as a glaze or allow to cool and thicken for spreading or piping.

- For a thicker ganache, use a higher ratio of chocolate to cream.
