Description

Delicious and elegant chocolate dipped strawberries, perfect for dessert, parties, or romantic treats.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
  • 8 ounces semisweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, shredded coconut, white chocolate drizzle

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using).
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, covering about two-thirds of the strawberry.
  5. Allow excess chocolate to drip off, then place the dipped strawberry on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. If using toppings, sprinkle them on while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Optional: Drizzle with melted white chocolate for decoration.
  8. Let the strawberries sit at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
