- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Mix in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.
- Arrange halved strawberries cut side down over the cooled brownie base.
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until just boiling, then pour over chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Pour the ganache over the strawberries, spreading gently to cover.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until the ganache is set.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.

- Use fresh, firm strawberries for best results.
- Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For an extra touch, drizzle with white chocolate before serving.
